Your first observation
Add an asset, authorize a hostname check and find its report in your workspace.
Before you begin
Create a free account. Verify your email and create your own workspace, or accept an Owner’s invitation to an existing workspace. The browser app needs no installation. You need the Owner or Contributor role to add an asset and start a supported check; a Viewer can inspect accessible workspace data.
Want a public result without an account? Use Free check for a hostname you own or are authorized to check. Its result and download do not require registration. That snapshot is not automatically imported into the app.
Add and check a hostname
- Sign in to the app and confirm the workspace and role.
- Open Assets, choose Add asset, and enter the public hostname you are authorized to check.
- Open the asset. Review the check's scope and authorization controls before starting it. Adding an asset does not establish ownership or permission to collect.
- Start the supported observation only after confirming authorization. Account creation and CLI login do not start a check.
- Read the completed observation and its limitations. An unresolved result is not a pass. A failed or incomplete run is not evidence that a system is secure.
Checks are manually initiated; do not assume scheduled monitoring. Linux server checks and signed Local Audit imports have separate collection, scope and trust requirements. Do not use privileged collection commands merely to test login.
Find the result again
Open Assets for the asset's observation history or Reports for saved reports. Use View report from an observation. A workspace without saved observations has no reports yet. A new observation does not silently rewrite the previous completed source snapshot.
